Kasumi: she's got the speed, the juggles, the throw, and the evasion reversals. Of course, she lacks a little on the power and has no limbo stun. Also, her low mixups are poor, and she has no real launchers except under critical hit conditions (both of those drawbacks are typical of most characters, though).

Best wall combo: 13 hits, 201 damage
Best non-wall combo: 10 hits, 121 damage
Best juggle reversal: 6 hits, 118 damage (high counter)

She's got great combo ability off of her jab, some good stuns (P,P,P,P; d/f+P,P; P+K) and good juggles (P,P,f+P,K,d+K; P,P,f+P,P; P,P,P,K;, P,P,u/b+K; u/b+K). Her d/f,d/f+P+F throw is one of the best available to a strike-based character, and she can even pounce afterwards against those who don't tech roll (total of 122 damage on a high counter). Her teleport parries are simply amazing. Like all parries they take longer to execute than damage reversals, so they don't work against all strings. However, when you know which strings they do work against, they both remove the high/mid guessing game and provide greater damage potential than a damage reversal. Finally, she has great mobility using her special movement commands.

She may not be the most powerful, but she's a blast to play.

Kenaras this is the best combo post yet but I'm having difficulty landing the last kick on this combo
d/f+P,P, f,f+P, d/f+P, qcf+K, d/f+P,P, d/f,d/f+K, P,P,f+P,K,K I get 12-hits(165 pt at neutral) but last kick can't hit

I tried d/f+P,P, f,f+P, d/f+P, qcf+K, d/f+P,P, d/f,d/f+K, P,P,f+P,K,down K 13-hit that landed but the damage wasn't impressive next I tried High counter but not even mid way the character starts getting juggled early what is ur suggestion.

BTW I may love Ayane but that doesn't I don't play anyone else
In team mode I know a combo that can go up to 230 DP with Ayane& Kasumi if u ask me I think 250 is max and I'm confident that there is a combined combo that can get 250 thats going to be my challenge after finals and this project 4 school(don't ask ;)

The last kick in the P,P,f+K,K,K juggle only works against the lightest opponents. I've never tried using it against a real opponent (u+K, P,P,f+P,P is what I use normally), so I'm actually not even sure which opponents it will work against. I know it works against Ayane (she's my training dummy for Kasumi), so you might try that. I think I'll check it out tonight and see who else it works against.

Also, both combos I listed are for standard, non-counter hits.

After testing, it appears the P,P,f+P,K,K wall juggle only works against Kasumi, Ayane, Leifang, and Hitomi. I would have thought it would work on Helena too, but apparently she's too heavy. In any case, you can substitute P,P,K,K against heavier opponents; that will work all the way up to Bass. This also drops the damage down to 191 instead of 201.

Kasumi
Reasons:
-She's Ayane's half-sister. That in itself counts for something. ^_^
-Her "face stomp" is cool.
-She has that teleport reversal, which can get you out of sticky situations
-Also good with mind games, though not to the same extent as Ayane

Combos:
1)df+P,P, (stuns) u+K,P,P,t+P,K,d+K

2)(Opponents back near wall) df+P,P,t+P,K, wait (the opponent may try a counter,if high or low, uf+K. If mid, dash in, b+F+P for the face stomp.

3)u+K,u+K, (most people will not expect the same exact move two times in a row, the first time you try it on them) P,P,ub+K
